LIVONIA, Michigan — Roush Performance introduced the 2011 Roush Mustang 5XR, a $ 15,390 upgrade kit that bundles a 5.0-litre V8 supercharged with updates of suspension and an Aero package.
Available on pre-order through authorized resellers of Roush-Ford, the output of pumps 5XR to 525 horsepower and torque pound-feet of 465. The 5XR Roush offered on 2011 Mustang coupe and Cabrio, comes only with six-speed manual transmission. production is limited to 150 units.
The 5XR includes a package of suspension with front-mounted bar rear shocks and springs, and front and rear stabilizer bars and Roush 20-inch chrome wheels with rubber performance Cooper RS3.
An external package bundles a headband with billet upper grid and Guide lamps, front splitter Chin, side rocker Splitter, rear valance and three parts deck-lid spoiler, besides tipped Piazza exhaust pipes.
Quantified options include sport match color leather seats, four-piston brakes with 14-inch rotors slotted, a gauge of the breathing pod and a grid of three lower billet parts.
